Lithology and Thickness
It is composed of dense gray conglomerates and sandstones with rare interlayers of greenstone volcanics. The incomplete thickness is 1500 m. The lower package (5-100 m) is composed of dense and loose polygravel conglomerates, sometimes boulder. The composition of the pebbles of the conglomerates entirely depends on the underlying sediments. The middle package (100-300 m) - quartz and quartz-feldspar limestone sandstones with interlayers and lenses of limestones and limestone conglomerates. The upper (500-1000 m) - gray and dirty lilac-red poly-gravel, including boulder conglomerates with layers, packages, and lenses of various sandstones, gravelites, and greenstone-altered intermediate basic volcanics.
